More than 1,000 Citation operators – a quarter of the Citation fleet – are now using Cessna’s CPD cost-of-operations programme, ProParts. The programme provides customers with monthly costs for Citation airframe and avionic parts based on the number of hours flown, regardless of the service needs. Cessna has also established developed a uniform avionics cable assembly across the Citation CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3 models, which should in most cases allow customers to change their aeroplane’s equipment without having to rewire the entire aircraft.
