CAE will commence European training for Dassault’s Falcon 7X, 900EX EASy and 2000EX EASy at its facility at Burgess Hill, UK, in the third quarter of 2006.
“Burgess Hill was selected for two main reasons,” said Jeff Roberts, CAE group president, civil training and service. “Firstly, it is a convenient location for our customers, and secondly, it allows us to make best use of our existing assets by converting CAE’s military training centre at Burgess Hill into one that will also serve the business and commercial aviation operators.”
Under the terms of the contract awarded to the company by Dassault in 2004, CAE will provide entitlement training for pilots, cabin crew and maintenance personnel for the Falcon 7X. The company is currently developing two full-flight simulators for the aircraft.
