Ae270 Propjet approval reaches final stages
Ibis Aerospace has announced that its Ae270 Propjet is in the final stages of certification by European and US authorities. The aircraft will be certified under FAR Part 23 Normal category and eligible for FAR Part 135 IFR operations. Final approval is not expected for a few more months, the company said, but the Czech Aviation Authority has conducted a preliminary review of the certification documents and representatives from the US Federal Aviation Administration have flown the Ae270 aircraft.
