Aviaxess named Grand Prix helicopter carrier
The French Motorsports Federation has named Aviaxess, based at Héliport de Paris, as the official helicopter carrier of the Grand Prix de France. The company will operate rotary and fixed-wing aircraft between Paris, Saincaize, Sancoins and Nevers to the racing circuit, with return trips costing between ?210 and ?880. According to Aviaxess, some 100 helicopters, 10 jets, three airports and one heliport will come into use throughout the event at Magny-Cours between July 1 to 3.
