Farnborough International Limited, now the official organisers of the Farnborough Air Show, has told EBAN that the Business Aircraft Park (BAP) will definitely play an integral part in the 2006 event, which takes place from July 17-23 2006.

Accompanied by a move to a more central location, the BAP will again showcase some of the best business aircraft in the world for the first three days of the show.

This ‘show within a show’ concept was very successful for aircraft manufacturers during Farnborough 2004 who reported orders worth

$100 million.

The organisers state that the ability to position aircraft at Farnborough for a shorter period and within a dedicated area allows

a more concentrated sales effort,

and effective use of staff and demonstrator aircraft resources.
