FAI enjoys business boom
German air ambulance operator FAI rent-a-jet (Flight Ambulance International) has enjoyed a fleet utilisation of more than 1,100 hours in the first quarter of this year – usually a period the company regards as the ‘off-peak’ season. FAI is expecting to sell more than 5,000 hours of flight time this year, some 1,000 more than it logged last year with its fleet of four air ambulance jets.
