Turbolet crash kills pilots
On January 27, a Let 410UVP-E was written off when it crashed on approach to Iasi Airport, Romania, resulting in the death of the two flight crew members on board. The aircraft, which departed from Bucharest-Baneasa Airport, Hungary, was operated by Farnair. According to reports, weather was poor and snowfall limited visibility to about two kilometres. The aircraft crashed 300 metres west of the tower.
