Former Continental executive Chatten returns as CEO
Keith Chatten brings more than 30 years’ general aviation experience as the engine manufacturer strengthens manufacturing, aftermarket support and its next generation of engines.

Continental Aerospace Technologies has appointed Keith Chatten as its chief executive officer. Continental is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management.

Chatten has more than 30 years’ experience across the general aviation industry, including engineering, commercial and operational leadership. He returns to Continental having previously spent nearly 15 years at the company across a variety of engineering and leadership roles, and will lead the company as it strengthens its manufacturing operations, expands its aftermarket support network and delivers its next generation of engines.

Chatten says: “Continental has been at the heart of general aviation for more than 120 years, and I am honoured to lead the company during this exciting moment in its history. I spent nearly 15 years of my career at Continental, and this company and its people have always held a special place for me. I look forward to working alongside this talented team to build on Continental’s legacy of engineering excellence while continuing to deliver the high-quality products, reliability and customer support that have defined the company for generations.”

Founded in 1905 and headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Continental designs, manufactures and supports Avgas and Jet-A engines for the global installed base of general aviation aircraft.
