AC Jets sets out seven-point checklist for executive travel teams
Recommendations cover passenger travel profiles, aircraft and operator selection, airport routing and contingency planning for disrupted private flights.
Adam Coblin, founder and chief executive of AC Jets, says: “The best aviation relationship should reduce the workload on the person managing the trip. That means understanding the mission in advance and anticipating potential issues.”

AC Jets has set out a seven-point checklist designed to help family offices, executive assistants and corporate travel teams manage private jet travel with greater consistency and oversight.

The New York-based charter brokerage says private aviation management for a family office extends well beyond booking an available aircraft, taking in aircraft sourcing, operator and safety review, itinerary planning, airport selection, passenger preference management and ground logistics support when schedules change. The checklist sets out seven areas for travel coordinators to address: defining the mission before selecting an aircraft, maintaining a recurring passenger travel profile, matching the aircraft to the mission rather than passenger count alone, evaluating the operator, crew and aircraft under the AC Jets Safety Standard, assessing airports and routing beyond simple proximity, coordinating the wider travel experience and preparing a disruption plan in advance.

Coblin adds: “Private aviation works best as a relationship, not a series of disconnected transactions. When we understand how a client travels and what matters to the people managing that travel, we can focus on solving the mission instead of repeatedly gathering the same information.”

AC Jets can draw on more than 15,000 aircraft worldwide across multiple categories and works with ARGUS- and Wyvern-vetted operators, reviewing factors including pilot experience, operational oversight and safety history under its own safety standard. The brokerage offers 24/7 mission support before, during and after travel.
