GGT Worldwise has appointed Matt Burdette as director, global intelligence and compliance. In this role, he will lead the company's threat analysis and security operations services, supporting domestic and international clients with intelligence-driven risk management.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas and with offices in London, UK, GGT Worldwise is a provider of security-focused ground transportation solutions for corporate executives, business aircraft owners and operators worldwide.
Burdette brings more than 28 years of experience in corporate security, business aviation and travel risk management to GGT Worldwise. He joins the company from The ASA Group, where he served as vice president of global security operations. Prior to that, he was director of global security for United Healthcare Global. Throughout his career, he has focused on threat analysis and security operations for clients around the world, building a reputation as a trusted advisor in high-stakes environments.
A recognised thought leader in the industry, Burdette has authored articles on geopolitical risk, surface-to-air missile threats and the challenges of politicisation and duty of care in corporate intelligence. He has led numerous high-profile crisis management and evacuation operations, including the extraction of personnel from Kyiv, coordination of air resource deliveries to Puerto Rico and the evacuation of a reality television production crew from west Africa.
He is an active contributor to the security and aviation industries, serving on the NBAA International Operators Committee (IOC) and NBAA Security Council and is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and ASIS International.

In his new role, Burdette will oversee the GGT Worldwise global intelligence function, working to strengthen the company's Astorisk threat monitoring, risk assessment and compliance capabilities for clients navigating an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape. Matt will also provide a strong compliance oversight to all company activity.
