Reynolds Technical Services (RTS) has expanded its Part 145 repair station capabilities list, having initially received FAA certification in May. RTS holds airframe and engine ratings for the Challenger 604, Challenger 300, Hawker 400XP and 800XP, Citation Sovereign 680, Cessna CJ2 and Gulfstream 150.
Based at Cincinnati Municipal airport/Lunken Field in Ohio, RTS initially supported the internal fleet and managed aircraft operations of its affiliate Reynolds Jet. With the addition of FAA Part 145 certification, RTS is now authorised to provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to external aircraft owners and operators.
“As an operator, Reynolds Jet found there was a lack of high-quality business jet maintenance providers in the area, so we developed our own solution,” explains John Carter, vice president of maintenance and accountable manager for Reynolds Jet and RTS. “Our technicians have extensive experience across a broad range of business jet makes and models, including scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and AOG support. As a 145 repair station, we are able to meet the operational need for an experienced maintenance organisation located here in the Cincinnati area. We offer the highest level of operator-driven, hands-on expertise that few other MROs can provide.”
Since receiving its 145 repair station certification, RTS has provided aircraft maintenance services for several customers. It also expanded its capabilities list to include the Cessna CJ2 and supported a Part 135 operator during an AOG event at Lunken Airport. The RTS team quickly completed troubleshooting and repairs and efficiently returned the customer's aircraft to revenue service.
Carter adds: “We are positioned to fill the need for local aviation maintenance services, while supporting the broader initiative of strengthening the local and regional aerospace sector and contributing to long-term economic development.”
The addition of FAA Part 145 certification further enhances the Reynolds family of aviation companies and supports its long-term vision of providing comprehensive aviation services with an unwavering focus on safety, operational excellence and customer experience.
