Pentastar Aviation is expanding its Fivestar Gourmet catering operation to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), through the acquisition of Gourmet Airfare, a longtime provider of private aviation catering at the airport.

While Fivestar has long served customers travelling through DTW, this acquisition expands Fivestar's footprint with a new full-service Fivestar Gourmet kitchen onsite, complementing its original location at Oakland County International airport and strengthening the company's regional catering capabilities.

Together, the two locations serve customers across Detroit City airport, Oakland County International, Toledo Express, Willow Run, Ann Arbor Municipal, Capital Region International in Lansing and surrounding markets. Existing Gourmet Airfare customers will transition to the Fivestar brand.

The new DTW operation will integrate into Fivestar's existing service model, giving customers access to the company's extensive recipe library and custom menu development capabilities.
