BHS looks to ‘harmonise processes’ through German AOC transition
While Germany will in future focus on aircraft management and the strategic management of flight operations, the Zurich location will concentrate on air operations as well as charter services for private and business clients.
A BHS Citation Latitude.

BHS Aviation Group has transferred its AOC for commercial fixed-wing operations from Switzerland to Germany. As a result, both its fixed-wing flight operations and helicopter operations will in future be conducted under German regulatory oversight.

The certificate is the key regulatory requirement for the commercial transport of passengers and cargo in aviation. As part of the approval process conducted by the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt), BHS Aviation demonstrated, among other things, its professional expertise, technical and organisational capabilities, and the company's financial stability.

By consolidating its AOCs in Germany, BHS Aviation Group is taking an important strategic step in the further development of its corporate structure. The objective is to bundle regulatory responsibilities, further harmonise internal processes and leverage existing expertise more effectively on a unified operational basis.

The next phase of development will focus on the structured expansion of organisational, personnel and digital foundations. This includes the further development of internal processes, the targeted expansion of additional specialist expertise, as well as the introduction and harmonisation of modern software and management systems. The expansion of the service portfolio will be carried out deliberately, step by step and with a clear focus on quality.

As a premium provider of aircraft management, charter and customised mobility solutions, BHS Aviation serves aircraft owners, private clients and business customers with a strong commitment to safety, discretion, personal service and operational excellence. The focus is not on standardised aviation, but on tailored support consistently aligned with the specific requirements of each client and each aircraft.

The expansion of the aircraft management portfolio is conducted selectively in order to ensure the consistently high standards of personal service, operational quality and long-term partnership.

As part of the organisational development, the roles of the company's locations are also being further defined. While Germany will in future focus on aircraft management and the strategic management of flight operations, the Zurich location will concentrate on air operations as well as charter services for private and business clients.

“The new structural alignment is an important milestone for BHS Aviation Group,” explains Maximilian Stoschek, CEO of BHS Aviation Group. “By consolidating under a German AOC, we are creating a clear regulatory and organisational foundation for the further development of our company. Our ambition is to offer aircraft management and charter services not only safely and reliably, but with the highest degree of individuality, personal service, and uncompromising quality.”

BHS Aviation Group brings together more than 30 years of experience in exclusive passenger and business aviation. With bases in Bamberg, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland, the company operates business jets and a helicopter equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, premium interiors and the highest safety standards. Its service portfolio includes charter operations, aircraft management and comprehensive services covering the entire lifecycle of an aircraft.
