Game Day Private Jets targets college football travel
Same-day private shuttle flights are planned for major college football weekends across several underserved US campus markets.

Game Day Private Jets has launched its first series of “by-the-seat” same-day game day experiences ahead of the 2026 college football season, targeting one of the most difficult travel segments in US sport.

The integrated private travel membership platform, built around college athletics, is focusing on same-day roundtrip access to major college football weekends where commercial air service, hotel capacity and game-day congestion can complicate travel for donors, alumni, corporate groups and high-end fans.

The rollout follows the company’s launch partnership with the Texas Tech Red Raider Club, which introduces memberships, individual charter access, shared travel opportunities and season-long shuttle programming for Texas Tech supporters.

Game Day Private Jets has also appointed aviation executive Ryan Rudolph as strategic adviser for the shuttle initiative. Rudolph will support carrier coordination, aircraft sourcing, operational planning and route development as the programme expands.

The company is building its by-the-seat model around high-demand fixtures and underserved campus markets, allowing passengers to depart and return on the same day while avoiding overnight hotel stays and commercial airline connections.

Roundtrip game day experiences are expected to start from between $1,250 and $1,500 per person on selected routes, generally including ground transportation to and from stadiums. Tailgate experiences will also be arranged for certain events.

Initial planning includes routes linked to Texas Tech, University of Houston, SMU, Florida State, LSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan and Ole Miss games, with further markets expected to follow.

Paid annual memberships include a Family Membership priced at $949 and a Business Membership at $8,500, with benefits including preferred pricing on charters, shared flight access and priority access to shuttle services.

To support the operation, Game Day has developed a carrier network spanning turboprops, midsize business jets, large-cabin aircraft and VIP regional jets.

“We are working with a focused group of launch operators as we roll out our initial 2026 shuttle schedules,” says Luis Garcia, founder and CEO of Game Day Private Jets. “The response from our member communities and school-aligned audiences has been very encouraging.”

All shuttle flights will be operated by certificated direct air carriers under the US DOT public charter framework.
