247 receives EURAMI ambulance accreditation
Achieving accreditation demonstrates that 247 Aviation's clinical governance, safety procedures and medical operations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, offering assurance to patients and partners.
Gareth Evans has called the news a significant milestone.

247 Aviation has been awarded accreditation by the European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI) for its adult and paediatric critical care air ambulance services and commercial medical escort repatriations. This milestone underscores the UK operator's sustained growth and commitment to the highest global standards in aeromedical transport, clinical practice and patient safety.

EURAMI is a globally respected accreditation body that defines the most rigorous benchmarks for air medical services. Achieving accreditation demonstrates that 247 Aviation's clinical governance, safety procedures and medical operations meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, offering assurance to patients, healthcare partners and insurers that care is delivered with exceptional precision and compassion.

As a dedicated air ambulance provider, 247 Aviation delivers adult and paediatric critical care transport internationally. Every mission is staffed by expert medical teams.

Working closely with the NHS and Health and Social Care (HSC) in Northern Ireland and beyond, 247 Aviation provides vital air ambulance and medical teams to support critical inter-hospital transfers and regional emergency response. These partnerships ensure efficient and clinically robust patient care to all patients.

Operating a modern fleet of nine aircraft, including the Learjet 45 XR and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, 247 is able to deliver rapid-response air ambulance capacity for regional, long-haul and international missions. Each aircraft is equipped and maintained to deliver advanced aeromedical care, reflecting the organisation's commitment to safety, reliability and world-leading clinical standards.

Based in Belfast, UK, 247 Aviation's EURAMI accreditation highlights its excellence in regional and long-haul fixed-wing air ambulance services and commercial medical repatriations.

It is one of the few services to have dual accreditation of both EURAMI and CAMTS and gives measure to affirm 247 Aviation's comprehensive capability to deliver safe, specialised and globally compliant medical transport for patients of all ages and conditions.

Gareth Evans, aeromedical services director, comments: “Achieving EURAMI accreditation is a significant milestone for our service and a reflection of the dedication, professionalism and clinical excellence demonstrated by every member of our team. It reinforces our commitment to delivering the highest standards of aeromedical care, safety and governance on every mission.”
