Fargo Jet Center has promoted Michael Lawrence to director of FBO operations. In this newly created role, Lawrence will oversee line service operations at both Premier Jet Center at Flying Cloud airport in Minneapolis and Fargo Jet Center at Hector International airport in North Dakota, providing leadership and strategic direction across the organisations' service channel operations.
Lawrence has served as general manager of Premier Jet Center since 2021 after first joining the organisation in 2017 as operations manager. With over 25 years in the aviation industry, he has developed deep experience across FBO operations including customer service, line operations, facilities management and business development. During his tenure, Lawrence has played a key role in the growth and operational excellence of the Minneapolis facility, leading teams responsible for delivering best-in-class service to aviation customers and partners.
As Fargo Jet Center and Premier Jet Center continue to expand their facilities and service capabilities, Lawrence's promotion reflects the organisation's commitment to strong operational leadership across both locations. He will focus on advancing service standards, strengthening team development and driving continued growth within the line service divisions.
“Michael's industry experience and leadership made this an easy decision,” says Jim Sweeney, president of Fargo Jet Center. “He combines deep operational knowledge with proven leadership, earning the respect of team members and delivering lasting results in our line operations. His understanding of FBO operations and commitment to customer service make him the ideal person to lead our line service teams as our facilities continue to grow and evolve.”
