Tropic accepts the last of its latest batch of Grand Caravan EX
The Belize operator's all-Caravan fleet now numbers 15 aircraft, is the youngest in the country and across the region, and reinforces a strategic investment in modern, reliable and resilient operations.
Introducing a new aircraft to Tropic Air is not just about growth, but about reinforcing the airline's core values of safety, service and sustainability.

Tropic Air's most recent factory-new Grand Caravan EX aircraft is the fifth and final aircraft in its order of five delivered for the 2025-2026 fleet expansion initiative, bringing the Belize operator's all-Caravan fleet to 15 aircraft, the youngest in the country and across the region, and reinforcing a strategic investment in modern, reliable and resilient operations that enhance safety, performance and the passenger experience.

“This investment is ultimately about our customers and passengers,” states Max Greif, CEO of Tropic Air. “By continuing to invest in factory-new aircraft, we are strengthening the reliability of our operation and ensuring we deliver the consistent, high-quality service our passengers expect and deserve. These aircraft allow us to serve Belize better, today and into the future.”

The aircraft was received on behalf of Tropic Air by Simeon Chiac, a Belize Defence Force veteran and seasoned aviation professional with over 30 years of experience across defence, regulation and airline operations. Chiac currently serves as Tropic Air's quality assurance manager, overseeing compliance, safety and maintenance quality across the fleet.

Introducing a new aircraft to Tropic Air is not just about growth, but about reinforcing the airline's core values of safety, service and sustainability. Each addition strengthens Tropic Air's leadership in safety and operational excellence, with adherence to IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standards ensuring every flight meets the highest global benchmarks.

The delivery of HJE completes Tropic Air's 2025-2026 fleet expansion initiative and further solidifies the operator's position as a regional leader in safe, reliable and modern air service. Through continued investment in aircraft, people and systems, Tropic Air remains firmly committed to the cause of national advancement and to serving Belize today and into the future.
