Italian flight training organisation European Aviation Academy (EAA), a brand of LTN Group, has selected the Tecnam P2006T NG to expand its fleet. This acquisition marks a key milestone for the Rome-based academy, representing a significant step forward in providing advanced, airline-oriented multi-engine pilot training.

Operating in the aviation training sector for over 13 years, EAA has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality pilot education and professional development programmes. The academy has successfully trained more than 180 cadets, consistently supporting their progression from initial training to airline careers. With a remarkable post-programme placement rate of 95 per cent, EAA stands as a reliable, results-driven institution within the competitive European flight training market.

The introduction of the Tecnam P2006T NG to its fleet will allow EAA to further elevate the quality and personalisation of its cadet programme. Equipped with advanced technologies such as the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics, a multi-engine configurable cockpit and optimised performance in terms of fuel efficiency, the P2006T NG provides cadets with a modern, safe and highly efficient training environment.

Dario Di Gregorio, CEO of European Aviation Academy, comments on the strategic acquisition: “With the introduction of the Tecnam P2006T NG, European Aviation Academy aims to consolidate its role in innovative pilot training, promoting the professional development of cadets through cutting-edge programmes. This state-of-the-art aircraft allows us to integrate modern technology, safety and optimal performance, providing a comprehensive and highly formative training experience. The partnership with Tecnam not only enhances the quality of our cadet programme but also opens new development opportunities for our academy, expanding our reach in the international aviation training market. Moreover, the P2006T NG enables us to offer scenic flights and immersive aviation experiences for private individuals and enthusiasts, enriching our educational and recreational offerings while fostering innovation in preparing the next generation of pilots.”

Walter Da Costa, Tecnam chief sales officer, welcomes the new partnership: “We are thrilled to welcome European Aviation Academy to the Tecnam family. The P2006T NG is the perfect fit for an academy with such a strong focus on modern, airline-oriented training and exceptionally high placement rates. By bringing the most efficient and technologically advanced twin-engine aircraft into its fleet, EAA is investing in a sustainable and highly competitive future for its cadets.”

The P2006T NG allows EAA to strategically position itself in the global aviation training market by offering competitive international programmes and opening opportunities in new sectors, such as advanced simulation services, airline partnership training and customised programmes for international students.
