Cutter appoints Charles as chief pilot
Nicholas A. Charles draws on more than 30 years of Part 135 charter and aircraft management experience in the United States and United Kingdom.
With the additon of Charles, Cutter Aviation’s pilot team now exceeds 20 pilots under the chief pilot structure.

Cutter Aviation has appointed Nicholas A. Charles as chief pilot, bringing more than 30 years of experience in Part 135 air charter and aircraft management operations to the company.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Charles has flown and led flight operations across the United States. He has held senior leadership roles including chief pilot and director of operations.

His background includes pilot training and standardisation, regulatory compliance, coordination with FAA Flight Standards District Offices and oversight of safety management programmes and third-party audits.

In his role as chief pilot, Charles oversees daily flight operations, coordinates flight schedules, manages pilot hiring and directs pilot training, standardisation and evaluation for Cutter Aviation’s team of more than 20 pilots.
