Dassault Aviation has appointed Didier Raynard as senior vice president, sales for the Asia Pacific, following the retirement of Jean-Michel Jacob. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Raynard will lead all Falcon sales activity throughout east and southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.
The Asia Pacific currently hosts around 100 Falcon aircraft, a number expected to increase as the extra-wide cabin Falcon 6X enters service and the ultra-long range 10X begins flight testing. Dassault’s ExecuJet Malaysia opened a large maintenance facility at Subang Airport in 2024, expanding support for regional operators.
Raynard began his career at EADS (now Airbus), coordinating local content and offsets in Turkey and then managing fixed and rotary wing aircraft sales across Europe, Australia and southeast Asia. He joined Dassault in 2008 as Falcon sales manager for southeast Asia and the Pacific, bringing more than 24 years of Asia Pacific experience to his new role.
