World Travel Awards recognition places HKBAC among global elite
Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre was named the World’s Leading FBO Terminal, reinforcing the city’s role in global executive and leisure travel.
The award underscores Hong Kong’s status as a super-connector for global commerce and time-sensitive travel.

Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) has been named the World’s Leading FBO Terminal at the 32nd World Travel Awards. The recognition highlights Hong Kong International Airport’s position as a key hub for business and leisure travel, and reinforces the city’s role as a super-connector for global commerce.

“This is a moment that speaks to the city’s confidence and the craft behind our services,” says Vivien Lau, CEO of HKBAC. “Our intention has always been clear: to create the world class luxury aviation gateway, as efficient as Hong Kong at its best. What makes HKBAC exceptional is not just the environment, but the people who deliver it consistently, calmly and with absolute focus.”

The World Travel Awards are widely considered the benchmark for excellence in the travel industry. The win places HKBAC among the top private aviation gateways globally, while supporting Hong Kong’s economic growth and role in cross-border travel and investment.

HKBAC is continuing to develop its facilities. Phase one of its terminal development programme was completed in 2025 and included a 26-metre metal and column-free Sky Canopy. Phase two is now underway and includes refurbishment of the existing terminal, partner office space and event venues. Completion is expected in Q1 2026.

“This recognition raises the bar for us and for the region,” adds Lau. “It resets expectations about Hong Kong, and it reinforces our responsibility to keep moving forward.”
