F/List expands Dubai interiors hub to serve Middle East growth
A 900 square metre facility in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub has replaced the company's previous Dubai base, supporting aftermarket service growth across the region.
Group director Markus Schröcker says the Dubai facility offers both a showcase for interiors expertise and a dependable base for aftermarket services.

F/List has upsized its presence in the Middle East by moving into a 900 sqm facility within the Dubai South Freezone at Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, located at Al Maktoum International Airport. The expansion more than doubles its previous footprint and is in response to rising demand for aftermarket services and cabin material customisation among regional aviation clients.

The new space will house 25 specialists, a dedicated showroom showcasing over 1,000 certified materials including wood, stone, leather and metals, and dedicated upholstery and carpentry workshops. From here, the Austrian interiors company will provide a full suite of aftermarket cabin services to business aviation customers.

“As business aviation in the Middle East continues to expand, Dubai, and particularly the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South, has established itself as a key location for the industry. With its central position, excellent connectivity and strong infrastructure, it provides the ideal base for F/List to support customers across the region,” says Michael Mueller, managing director aviation, F/List.

“All our materials are engineered for beauty, practicality and durability, and are fully qualified for aerospace use,” adds Markus Schröcker, group director customer relations and sales and manager of the expanded Dubai facility. “We understand that we need to produce products that exude elegance but meet the rigorous demands for hygiene, weight efficiency and sustainability. Our contemporary space provides a reliable resource for aftermarket services, as well as an opportunity to showcase our interiors expertise in a dedicated environment. We know that our customers will welcome the proximity and streamlined access to our services.”

F/List says the Dubai base may also serve as a first point of contact for airlines before they engage with its commercial aviation division at headquarters in Thomasberg. The wider company portfolio includes yacht and residential interiors, and innovations such as the F/Lab Stone Inlay, bio-based F/Lab Aenigma and F/Lab Natural Oil varnish. All follow the company’s sustainability-first production ethos.
