Hainan Haizhi General Aviation has entered into a major agreement for 12 Cessna Grand Caravan EX Amphibian aircraft, signed at the AERO Asia airshow in Zhuhai. The purchase was made through Aero Assets Asia, a joint venture of Seaplane Asia focused on trading and managing aircraft assets.

Haizhi General Aviation is part of the Northern-Heli Aviation Group, which operates 36 aircraft across multiple bases in China. The company supports emergency medical services, charter flights and pilot training.

Zhou Fei, general manager of Hainan Haizhi General Aviation, says: “Haizhi General Aviation is committed to expanding its footprint in specialised aviation trade and services, and the acquisition of this sophisticated amphibious fleet by Aero Assets Asia is a critical component of that strategy. We are glad to support Aero Assets Asia in realising its vision of combining world-class asset management with deep operational expertise and look forward to a strategic partnership moving forward beyond this first deal.”

The aircraft will be delivered in phases starting in early 2026 and will support missions across Southeast Asia’s island chains and coastal cities.
