US FBO chain Atlantic Aviation has expanded its presence in the Caribbean with the acquisition of ExecuJet's facility at Princess Juliana International airport in Sint Maarten. The acquisition coincides with ExecuJet's relocation to the airport's recently completed dedicated general aviation facility and marks another milestone in Atlantic's continued international growth.

Atlantic's newest location at SXM offers a full suite of aircraft ground services, including fuelling, parking and landing permits, water, lavatory services and GPUs, as well as concierge services such as passenger handling and coordination, customs and immigration clearance, catering services and transportation arrangements.

“Providing our customers with an expanded international footprint while strengthening our Caribbean network are important goals for us,” says Jeff Foland, CEO of Atlantic Aviation. “Our prestigious, new Sint Maarten location allows us to accomplish both, providing customers in the region with seamless access to Atlantic's industry-leading service and hospitality.”

As Sint Maarten enters its peak travel season, operations at Princess Juliana International continue to thrive. The location will continue to operate under the ExecuJet name, blending its European and global brand with Atlantic's established North American and Caribbean presence to reflect the island's role as a premier international gateway in the Caribbean. The existing team will remain in place to ensure uninterrupted, exceptional service for customers.

Bobby Femia, vice president, mergers and acquisitions of Atlantic Aviation states: “We're excited about this acquisition for a multitude of reasons, beginning with Princess Juliana International Airport's role as critical aviation infrastructure for the region and as the primary gateway to marquee destinations such as St. Barts. ExecuJet's first-class operation at SXM, its market leading presence and its brand-new facilities on the island further elevate this opportunity. Together, these attributes create a strong complement to our existing Caribbean operations and our expanding international footprint.”
