FAA King Airs receive depot-level care from King Aerospace
The depot-level contract includes phase inspections, engineering support and AOG response for 17 Super King Airs nationwide.
The King Air 300 maintains its position as a durable choice for multi-role missions.

King Aerospace has been selected by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to provide depot-level maintenance for its fleet of Beechcraft King Air 300 and 360 aircraft. Under the new contract, King Aerospace Inc. (KAI) will act as the prime contractor, with King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC) and other FAA-certified repair stations supporting as subcontractors.

The contract covers both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, phase inspections and AOG (aircraft on ground) support. King Aerospace is also responsible for technical and engineering services. The FAA King Air fleet is based at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and operates out of Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The KACC facility at Ardmore Municipal Airport is located 45 minutes away.

King Aerospace president Jarid King says: “This new opportunity is a strong endorsement of our expert operational management and dedicated maintenance programmes.”

Vice president Bob Blanchard adds: “We’re honoured to continue serving those who keep our nation flying.”

The FAA currently operates 17 King Air 300 aircraft, used to verify navigational aids and instrument landing systems. The first 360 model is expected in 2027.
