Petterson primed to thrive at Aircontact Sweden
Stefan Petterson will oversee sales related to air charter services for incentive and corporate travel, sports charters and more. He brings over 30 years of experience from the travel industry in Sweden.

Aircontact, a Nordic air charter broker, has appointed Stefan Petterson as sales manager for Aircontact Sweden, effective late November. He will be responsible for leading the company's efforts in the Swedish market.

Sweden is already one of Aircontact's most important and largest markets but, until now, Swedish operations have been managed from the headquarters in Oslo. Going forward, the Swedish civil market will be serviced directly from Aircontact Sweden's office on Nybrogatan in Stockholm.

Petterson will oversee sales related to air charter services for incentive and corporate travel, sports charters and more. He brings over 30 years of experience from the travel industry in Sweden, having recently worked as an airline broker specialising in air charter services.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Stefan to the Aircontact family. Sweden has long been a strategically important market for us, and with this hiring we finally gain the strong local presence we have desired,” says Ulf Gregersen, CEO of Aircontact.

Stefan Petterson expresses enthusiasm about enhancing Aircontact's position in Sweden: “With a local presence, we can provide customers here direct access to the entirety of Aircontact's international network and competitive pricing. This opens new opportunities and strengthens the local market with global resources and extensive experience.”

Founded in Oslo in 1962, Aircontact is the largest broker in the Nordic region. The company has 11 experienced airline brokers and arranges flights with all types of aircraft, including: incentive and corporate travel; sports charters; crew changes; VIP flights; air ambulance services; freight solutions, including humanitarian aid and specialised cargo; and flights for government and defence across the Nordic region and Europe.

Aircontact collaborates with both private companies and governmental agencies. Government and public contracts will continue to be managed from the headquarters in Oslo, while the Swedish division will focus on the private and commercial markets.

“With Aircontact Sweden, we can now be even closer to our Swedish customers and offer tailored solutions with the quality and flexibility we are known for,” concludes Gregersen.
