MedAire launches redesigned alert system
The platform, going live in December 2025, has been created to improve the speed, accuracy and relevance of critical operational alerts.

MedAire has launched a redesigned alert management system that gives aircraft operators more control over how they receive medical and security intelligence. The new platform will be available from December 2025.

The updated system features a completely refreshed visual design to make navigation easier and decisions faster. Operators can now filter alerts using a range of tools, including trip schedules and frequent destinations, to make sure only the most relevant information reaches their teams.

“Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do at MedAire,” says Bill Dolny, CEO of MedAire. “This redesigned alert management system demonstrates our commitment to not just collecting data but transforming it into actionable intelligence that empowers operators to make informed decisions.”

The platform includes three key types of alerts: aviation alerts about airspace and airport-specific threats, medical alerts including outbreak and vaccination information, and security alerts focused on regional threats beyond the aircraft. All alerts are validated by MedAire’s medical and security professionals based around the world.

“Our goal was to create a system that informs and empowers,” says John Cauthen, VP, global security services and products, aviation and maritime at MedAire.
