Niagara completes fleet renewal with H130s
The delivery of four H130 helicopters in Fort Erie completed the operator’s modernisation programme and reinforced its long-term commitment to Canadian-built aircraft.
The H130’s low acoustic footprint helps Niagara Helicopters operate safely near high regulated and environmentally sensitive areas like Niagara Falls.

Niagara Helicopters has completed its fleet renewal programme with the delivery of four Airbus H130 helicopters at Airbus Helicopters’ Fort Erie facility. The delivery event was attended by employees, guests and local community leaders, celebrating the continuation of a long-standing partnership between the two Canadian aviation companies.

“For more than 60 years, Niagara Helicopters has showcased the beauty of Niagara Falls from above, and our priority is ensuring every passenger experiences it at its very best,” says Anna Pierce, vice president and general manager at Niagara Helicopters. “The H130 is the ideal aircraft for our operation, offering comfort, visibility and performance that allows us to deliver truly memorable tours.”

Last year, Niagara Helicopters confirmed a full fleet renewal with an order for six H130 helicopters. The latest deliveries finalise that commitment, ensuring the company’s operations remain efficient, sustainable and customer-focused.

The H130’s spacious cabin design, combined with its low acoustic footprint, makes it ideal for tourism operations over environmentally sensitive areas such as Niagara Falls. Each aircraft is powered by a Safran Arriel 2D engine and features Airbus’ Fenestron tail rotor for reduced noise and enhanced safety.

Niagara Helicopters continues to welcome more than 100,000 passengers each year from around the world for its nine minute, 27 kilometre sightseeing tours over the world-famous falls. The company remains one of Canada’s most recognisable and enduring tourism operators.
