Spectrum Networks expands into aircraft power outlets
The company has extended its aerospace expertise with Smart Outlets that simplify installation and improve maintenance efficiency.

Spectrum Networks has expanded beyond lighting with the launch of its aviation-grade Smart Outlet range. Available in 1–5A and 6–10A variants, the outlets are built to the same high reliability and performance standards as Spectrum’s lighting systems.

Developed in response to operator and MRO feedback, Spectrum Smart Outlets are durable, mechanical drop-in replacements that remove the need for separate inline power modules in higher amp variants. They also feature magnetic removal bezels for easier plating and maintenance.

The product line completed RTCA DO-160 testing in Q3 2025 and will debut later this month on an ACJ A320 programme. Four additional shipsets are scheduled for delivery by year end to multiple customers, with more platforms to follow in 2026.
