Investment business SouthernPlex Group has taken a strategic stake in AirProtect. The investment will enable AirProtect to enter the aircraft services sector, providing detailing, protective coatings and maintenance services for private airports, aircraft owners and operators, and help it scale operations across Texas.

“Aircraft detailing and maintenance is about more than appearance; it’s about preserving asset value and operational readiness,” says Tim Warner, founder of AirProtect. “Our partnership with SouthernPlex is a launchpad to bring elevated service to general aviation clients across Texas.”

AirProtect, a veteran-owned business, offers exterior washes, brightwork polishing, paint revival, window restoration, interior detailing, leather conditioning, protective coatings, sanitisation and hangar-based maintenance support. Its approach draws from best practices in detailing and restoration, focusing on precision, quality materials and reduced downtime.

Preston Howell, CEO of SouthernPlex, says, “We are thrilled to be aligned with Mr. Warner and AirProtect’s impressive positioning and overall vision. We believe that AirProtect’s focus on craftsmanship and operational rigour will fill a premium niche in maintaining and detailing aircraft across this dynamic market.”

AirProtect plans to expand into broader maintenance services, including partnerships with FBOs, MROs and private airport operators to deliver on-site support and concierge services. The company aims to grow within airport ecosystems and expand into neighbouring states as operations scale.
