ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Lider Aviacao has been stationing a HondaJet in Goias since August. The jet is based at the Condomínio Liberty airport in Goianapolis and will primarily serve customers operating in Brazilian regions with strong economic dynamism and limited commercial flights.
The initiative expands the company’s presence in Brazil’s midwest and aims to make its charter service more agile and competitive to meet recurring demands from strategic sectors such as agribusiness. The number of monthly flight hours is expected to increase by 20 per cent with this new strategy.
“We are aware of the growing demand for fast travel in areas with limited air connectivity. Having an aircraft strategically positioned in Goias allows us to improve operational responsiveness and strengthen our customer service,” says Juliana Figueiredo, director of aircraft chartering and management at Lider Aviacao. The choice of Condomínio Liberty reflects a recent trend: the emergence of private enterprises with aeronautical infrastructure integrated into the daily routines of entrepreneurs, producers and investors. The location’s proximity to the state’s main production hubs also contributes to operational efficiency.
"This move is part of our commitment to offering tailored mobility solutions, with a focus on logistical efficiency. Executive aviation plays an essential role in the productivity of various segments, and we remain alert to opportunities for regional expansion,” emphasises Bruna Assumpcao, Lider's managing director of executive aviation. The company also provides specialised services such as air medical transport, offering the infrastructure and agility for patient evacuation and transfer missions throughout the country.
In addition to chartering, Lider’s presence in the region also strengthens its comprehensive solutions offering for customers who own aircraft and require support in managing their assets. Aircraft management and administration services range from flight planning and maintenance to operational and regulatory support, with a focus on safety, cost efficiency and aircraft availability. The transaction also represents a strategic move with growth potential. Lider is also monitoring the increased demand in other areas in the Central-West region and continues to evaluate new opportunities to operate in regions with limited commercial aviation coverage.
