Milestone supports Bristow’s coastguard ops with AW139 leaseback deal
Bristow Group has added two Leonardo AW139 helicopters to its fleet through leaseback agreements with Milestone Aviation, improving search and rescue operations across the United Kingdom.

Milestone Aviation Group signed purchase and leaseback agreements with Bristow Group for two Leonardo AW139 helicopters.

The aircraft, recently delivered to Bristow, are configured for search and rescue missions and will support its HM Coastguard operations in the United Kingdom.

Pat Sheedy, CEO of Milestone Aviation Group, says: “We are very pleased to strengthen our long-term partnership with Bristow through the lease of these two new state-of-the-art AW139s. We are proud to support its efforts and wish it every success as it continues to expand its fleet and strengthen life-saving SAR operations across the UK.”

Alan Corbett, Bristow's chief operating officer for government services, adds: “We appreciate Milestone's support as we continue to transition the aircraft and capabilities needed to deliver vital search and rescue services in the UK.”
