Two new hangars aren't the only growth happening at Lancaster this year. Venture Jets, a private aviation company based out of Lancaster airport in Pennsylvania, has named David Posey as executive vice president. Posey, a seasoned executive with a career spanning the insurance, technology and aviation industries, will be instrumental in spearheading the company's strategic growth, operational leadership and customer engagement.
Posey brings substantial experience to Venture Jets, including a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving operational excellence. In his previous role at GrandView Aviation, he served as the national director of sales and marketing, where he significantly expanded the company's fleet and team, positioning it as the fourth-largest light jet operator in the country. When GrandView Aviation was acquired by Global Medical Response in 2022, he also played a key role in turning around TTSI (another company acquired by GMR) into a profitable organisation.
“My career has always been driven by a passion for aviation, and I'm incredibly excited to bring my experience to Venture Jets,” says Posey. “We are officially in growth mode at Venture Jets and excited to launch our new Pilatus platform. This expansion represents our continued commitment to providing high-quality, efficient and high-performance solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
Posey's expertise extends to integrating complex systems and fostering accountability within teams. As executive vice president, he will oversee strategic growth initiatives, customer communication and relationship management across the private aviation sector. His appointment is expected to significantly contribute to Venture Jets' overall mission and success within Central Pennsylvania.
