Fernandez takes charge as Air Charter Service opens Perth office
The company's expansion in western Australia was spurred by mounting sector demand and the earlier success of Sydney and Brisbane bases.
Stephen Fernandez worked in London before leading ACS operations in Hong Kong.

Air Charter Service strengthened its footprint in Australia by establishing a Perth base.

Justin Bowman, Air Charter Service's CEO, says: “Following the outstanding success of our offices in Sydney and Brisbane, we have been looking to add a Western office for some time. Australia is an important market for us and we are aiming to capitalise on Perth's role as the country's resource and energy capital and the city's strong overall economy.”

The office will be led by long-serving employee Stephen Fernandez, who joined Air Charter Service almost 20 years ago. He previously worked at the London headquarters before moving to Hong Kong, where he became regional director for APAC offices and grew the business significantly. Bowman adds: “We believe he is the right person to make this office a real success.”

Fernandez himself says: “I can't wait to get started here and build a team; Australia is such a strong market for Air Charter Service, with our other two offices in the country performing very well and enjoying a 24% growth in revenue this year.”

The Perth office opened on 1 September.
