The Helicopter Company teams up with Diriyah
THC will leverage its aviation expertise to support Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a flagship cultural and tourism destination, to explore the potential of incorporating UAM services.
The collaboration aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned company of the Public Investment Fund and Saudi Arabia's premier provider of commercial helicopter services, has signed an MoU with Diriyah Company to explore advanced UAM solutions within the Diriyah development. The MoU was signed by THC's CEO Arnaud Martinez and Diriyah Company's group CEO Jerry Inzerillo.

Under this partnership, THC will leverage its aviation expertise to support Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a flagship cultural and tourism destination, to explore the potential of incorporating UAM services within Diriyah's urban framework, focusing on infrastructure planning, regulatory alignment and sustainability. The collaboration aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 goals, by advancing national efforts to strengthen key sectors, such as tourism, mobility and infrastructure through the adoption of advanced technologies and sustainable development practices.

Commenting on the agreement, Capt. Martinez states: “We value our partnership with Diriyah Company on this groundbreaking project, which underscores our commitment to share THC's expertise in delivering innovative, safe and sustainable aviation solutions. We look forward to working closely with Diriyah to create a unique customer journey for the Kingdom's birthplace visitors, achieve the ambitious goals of this agreement and support the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”

Inzerillo adds: “We are thrilled to partner with THC in this pioneering initiative, which marks a major step toward realising our vision of Diriyah as a world-class cultural and tourism destination. We believe that introducing innovative urban air mobility services will offer a truly distinctive experience for our visitors and further strengthen Diriyah's presence on the global tourism map.”

This MoU highlights THC's continued commitment to building strategic partnerships that drive forward innovation, support sustainable development and position Saudi Arabia as a global leader in advanced air mobility and cutting-edge aviation solutions.
