StandardAero has completed the expansion of its business aviation facility at Augusta Regional Airport in Georgia. The development brings 80,500 square feet of additional space, representing a 60 per cent increase, and creates around 100 new skilled jobs.

The expanded site strengthens Honeywell HTF7000 engine MRO capacity, where StandardAero is the exclusive independent heavy overhaul provider, while also supporting larger airframe maintenance for business jets. The Augusta facility, established in 1974, already serves Bombardier, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker platforms along with Honeywell HTF7000, TFE731 and GTCP36 APU engines.

“Today marks a major milestone for StandardAero and for our customers,” says Russell Ford, chairman and CEO of StandardAero. “This expansion reinforces our long-term commitment to the business aviation community and to Augusta, where we've proudly operated for more than 50 years.”

A ribbon-cutting marked the grand opening of the now 210,000 square foot campus, highlighting new career opportunities and improved customer amenities. Anthony Brancato, president of StandardAero's business aviation division, says: “We're listening to our customers, and they're asking for more capacity, faster turn times and a partner they can trust with their most valuable assets. With this investment in Augusta, we're answering that call.”

The new hangar is already active for airframe work, while the new engine shop is expected to be fully operational in the first half of 2026.
