Houston Jet Direct is managing a factory-new 2025 Cessna Citation Latitude on behalf of its owner. The decision to bring the Latitude into the Texan Part 135’s managed fleet reflects a strategic focus on performance, reliability and passenger comfort. The owner recognised the Latitude as a highly capable and versatile super midsize jet that offers the ideal blend of range, cabin size and operating efficiency. For Houston, it’s a valuable addition that enhances its service offerings and provides charter clients with an elevated experience.
The aircraft is both professionally managed and available for charter, making it a flexible asset that supports both private use and supplemental revenue generation. This dual-purpose setup ensures the aircraft remains active, well maintained and operationally efficient while also providing access to a premium flying experience for charter clientele.
Among the Latitude’s standout features is its flat-floor, stand-up cabin, widely praised for being one of the most spacious and comfortable in its class. It offers ample room for up to nine passengers, generous luggage capacity, modern onboard amenities like wi-fi and a quiet, pressurised environment ideal for both business and leisure travellers. The aircraft also boasts a range of up to 2,700nm, allowing for nonstop flights to destinations across North America, the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America.
“In terms of operations, the Latitude is a strong complement to the existing fleet we manage,” says general manager Alberto Castro. “It complements our larger super midsize aircraft, giving us more flexibility to accommodate mission-specific needs. Its capabilities allow us to serve clients seeking midsize efficiency without sacrificing comfort, whether it’s a quick regional trip or a cross-country journey.
“The aircraft will be used for a wide range of missions, from executive business travel and corporate shuttles to family vacations and last-minute leisure getaways. Its versatility makes it a go-to choice for clients looking for a luxurious, cost-effective alternative to larger jets.
“This year has been full of momentum and growth. Demand for private aviation continues to trend upward, especially among first-time flyers seeking flexibility, privacy and convenience. The addition of the Latitude has aligned perfectly with this trend, allowing us to meet new client expectations while offering a premium experience.”
Looking ahead, Houston’s focus remains on delivering exceptional service, growing the managed fleet selectively and deepening relationships with aircraft owners and charter clients alike. With strong interest in midsize and super midsize jets, the team is optimistic about the months ahead and excited for what’s to come.
Castro concludes: “One of the standout features of the Cessna Citation Latitude is its exceptional short-field performance. In our industry, the ability to access smaller airports isn’t just a convenience: it’s a competitive advantage. The Latitude’s design allows us to operate from shorter runways with confidence, opening the door to destinations that many jets simply can’t reach. This means our clients can land closer to their final destination, save valuable travel time and enjoy greater flexibility in their itineraries. We are incredibly proud of this capability. It’s what makes the Latitude a game-changer in private aviation.”
