Baldwin introduces facilitator programme for FAA-approved ASAP management
Early adopters, including Talon Air, have experienced improved efficiency and reporting accuracy through Baldwin’s integrated safety, compliance and operational management systems.

Baldwin Safety & Compliance has introduced its Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Facilitator Program to help organisations manage FAA-approved ASAP initiatives with increased efficiency, security and insight. The FAA’s ASAP initiative encourages certificated employees to voluntarily report safety-related events without fear of disciplinary action, enabling organisations to address safety concerns before they escalate.

By using Baldwin’s programme, companies gain access to a secure employee portal where safety issues can be reported, tracked and analysed. It also supports the administrative needs of the ASAP Event Review Committee, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and meetings between company management and FAA safety inspectors are documented.

Talon Air, a Part 135 private aviation operator, was among the early adopters. “Baldwin’s responsiveness to our needs and commitment to continuous improvement far exceed what we’ve experienced before. Its expertise and support have made our ASAP process more seamless and effective than ever,” says Timothy Martins, director of safety at Talon Air.

Organisations switching to Baldwin for ASAP facilitation have found that combining their ASAP programme and safety management system under one provider leads to greater efficiency. Baldwin’s position within Portside enables integration with a full suite of aviation management solutions.
