Sino Jet has received the ‘Dual-Carbon Digital Pioneer’ and ‘Sustainable Development Industry Model’ awards at the fourth International Green Zero-Carbon Festival and ESG Summit 2025 in Shanghai. The honours recognised the company’s progress in digital-first aviation and green development under China’s dual-carbon strategy.
Sino Jet was among the earliest operators in its sector to outline a carbon neutrality roadmap, combining digital systems with green practices. Its in-house platform integrates lifecycle aircraft data across safety, engineering, flight and finance operations, improving efficiency and resource use. In 2022, the company operated China's first carbon-neutral business jet flight.
Its 2024 carbon emissions fell by 11.4% year-on-year, and 21.2% from its 2021 baseline, despite expanding operations. Ongoing efforts include publishing emissions reports, donating to carbon sink forest projects and exploring eVTOL integration for zero-emission travel.
Sino Jet has also introduced internal and supplier-focused green initiatives, including tree planting, charity donations and low-carbon catering. The company says these steps reflect a long-term strategy rooted in responsibility and innovation. It intends to continue developing clean aviation technologies while collaborating across the industry to drive further environmental progress.
