CSAGA will lease six more H175s for offshore missions
The aircraft were procured by Skyco and will be leased to CSAGA to serve China’s growing offshore transport requirements.
The H175 has been in service since 2014 and has logged over 250,000 flight hours.

China Southern Airlines General Aviation Company (CSAGA) will add six H175 helicopters to its fleet, following a contract signed between Skyco International Financial Leasing and Airbus Helicopters. The aircraft will support offshore energy operations across China.

This follows Skyco’s earlier order for six H175s in early 2024, intended for public service and emergency management missions in Guangdong Province. The new aircraft will be operated by CSAGA under lease from Skyco as part of an ongoing strategic partnership promoting Guangdong’s general aviation sector.

CSAGA is one of China’s largest helicopter operators and a key contributor to the country’s offshore logistics. Colin James, Airbus Helicopters China’s managing director, says: “The H175 helicopter is a state-of-the-art product that performs a wide variety of helicopter missions around the world and will strongly enhance CSAGA's operations with its unparalleled performance, efficiency and reliability.”

In service since 2014, the H175 belongs to the super-medium class, combining range, payload and smooth flight characteristics. Over 70 have been delivered to date, with the fleet surpassing 250,000 flight hours globally.
