The Air Charter Association has finalised its 2025 internship cohort and will host the programme’s training week at London Biggin Hill Airport this August.
Launched in 2024, the ACA Internship supports 18 to 25-year-olds in building experience within the charter sector. This year’s intake of 15 includes a mix of school leavers, university students and graduates, with six females and nine males chosen.
Participants will receive training on broking, operations and engineering, delivered by guest speakers from ACA member companies. They will also tour facilities, FBOs and operators at Biggin Hill.
Following the training, each intern will complete a placement with one of the association’s 440 member companies. In November, the group will attend the Air Charter Excellence Awards, where their internship will be highlighted and the winner of their research project announced. Last year’s winner, William Bush, has been offered a summer contract with Gama Aviation ahead of university.
Glenn Hogben, CEO, The ACA, says: “The internship class of 2025 has a great mix of aspiring aviation professionals, and I am looking forward to engaging with them further at the upcoming training week.”
