Smart Aviation claims top charter award in London
Victory against prominent industry names at the HAC capped two decades of operations for the Crawley charter broker.
The award was collected by head of charter Matt Feldon and head of VIP charter James Gregory.

Smart Aviation has received the Best Air Charter Award at this year’s PA Show Summer Supplier Awards, held at the Honourable Artillery Company Ground in London. The Crawley-based charter broker, which marks its 20th anniversary in October, emerged top from a shortlist of six that included Chapman Freeborn, Flexjet, VistaJet, Sandbanks Jets and North Point Aviation.

The trophy was collected by head of charter Matt Feldon and head of VIP charter James Gregory. Founder and managing director Mark Hawkins says: “We are delighted to have won this award, especially against some highly respected competition. The accolade reflects the team's hard work and dedication to offering quality service and cost-effective solutions to all our clients.”

Smart Aviation has moved more than a million passengers worldwide by private jet and helicopter, played a major role in ACMI leasing, and arranged charter flights to football finals and to Lourdes. Hawkins adds: “As a company we are trusted by our loyal clients and partners, many of whom have worked with us for the last 20 years, and we are thrilled to have this recognised with this award.”
