Global aviation management platform FL3XX is celebrating five years since its first North American customer went live. More than 70 operators now use the platform across the region.
The company has been in business globally for 15 years and has expanded its US footprint to support 645 aircraft, with 32 operators currently onboarding and an average of 65 aircraft joining each month. In June alone, 15 new North American operators signed on to FL3XX to support their operations.
“Five years ago, we welcomed our first US customer; a big moment for us then and an even bigger one now as we look at how far things have come,” says co-founder and CEO Paolo Sommariva. “Every operator we‘ve worked with since has shaped the platform in some way. Their input, ideas and even challenges have helped us build something truly relevant to this market, with features and integrations designed in response to local requirements. This isn‘t a quick sprint for FL3XX. We've grown with the industry and with our customers. And while there's plenty of noise in the tech space right now, we're proud to be here, building with and for the business aviation industry.”
Operators using FL3XX‘s integrated platform have reported measurable improvements across flight planning, quoting and operational efficiency, including a 30 per cent reduction in crew scheduling time and a 25 per cent increase in fleet availability.
“We've seen real time saving and efficiency gains within multiple departments, from customer service to charter sales and logistics,” says Jared Williams, former COO of Canadian fractional operator AirSprint and new president and CEO of Seair Seaplanes. “The FL3XX platform is easy to use, and the different views available have been extremely helpful.”
In response to the expansion, a new sales team member will join the company’s North American support operation this week, with further recruitment planned over the coming month.
