Climbing. Fast initiative taken on by multiple bodies
In addition to BBGA, IBAC, the EBAA, the Canadian Business Aviation Association and the National Business Aviation Association, supporters of the Climbing. Fast. initiative include AOPA, GAMA and NATA.
The initiative is a collaborative scheme.

As a member of the Climbing. Fast. advocacy campaign launched by a coalition of business and general aviation organisations at NBAA-BACE in 2023, the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has introduced the Climbing. Fast. international website at the 2025 EBACE show.

IBAC director general Kurt Edwards comments. “We are pleased to host this latest addition to the Climbing. Fast. campaign with a global view of the countless actions and initiatives undertaken by the business aviation community to strive for more sustainable operations and to further inform about the industry's economic and societal benefits. There is much work happening around the world toward innovative solutions to meet our sustainability goals, and Climbing. Fast. International is an excellent tool for sharing this information about business aviation's efforts, all in one place. We look forward to working with our member associations and industry partners to amplify their stories and articles supporting our collective vision for a sustainable future.”

Claude Hurley, IBAC director, environment and flight operations, adds: “This new Climbing. Fast. international site will be a useful resource for all stakeholders, whether in individual states or the broader Industry, for studies and stories relating to the innovation, environmental leadership and resilience of the business aviation sector.”

IBAC also congratulated the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) on joining the Climbing. Fast. initiative this week and for introducing its UK-focused edition of the Climbing. Fast. website at EBACE.

In addition to BBGA, IBAC, the EBAA, the Canadian Business Aviation Association and the National Business Aviation Association, supporters of the Climbing. Fast. initiative include the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Aircraft Electronics Association, Alpha Eta Rho Aviation Fraternity, Experimental Aircraft Association, General Aviation Manufacturers Association, International Aircraft Dealers Association, National Aircraft Finance Association, National Air Transportation Association, Vertical Aviation International and Women in Corporate Aviation.

“We are excited to come on board with our own UK Climbing. Fast. website to signpost our policymakers, regulators, government, media and public to a single point. Here, we will share news, resources, facts and data. Climbingfast.co.uk. for the UK is also a natural home to our 'Did You Know' campaign,” says Lindsey Oliver, managing director of BBGA.

“'Did you Know' and hashtag BizavEnables is our narrative, our response to negative perceptions and antagonists. In our campaign, we highlight the positive contributions of business aviation with short videos filmed with our members, shared on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. We highlight sustainability efforts, job creation and essential services like air ambulances, the vital role on-demand aviation plays connecting otherwise unserved city pairs, supporting critical operations. Climbing. Fast. in the UK can share all these stories.”
