The Air Charter Association (The ACA) is attending EBACE 2025 in Geneva to share the progress that has been made by the association over the past year.

The ACA has been actively driving forward core initiatives, with a particular focus on promoting best practices among air charter professionals, through the growth of The Air Charter Broker Qualification and in supporting the future of the industry by expanding The ACA Internship.

Since the launch of the broker qualification in 2021, more than 250 delegates have taken part from more than 30 countries. The ACA's most recent Level 3 Training event resulted in the certification of 31 fully qualified air charter brokers.

Tommy Nelson, CEO of US brokerage Trilogy Aviation Group, says: “Having recently completed The ACA's Broker Qualification, it was fantastic learning from the senior team's deep experience as well as seeing how things operate slightly differently in Europe. I'm ready to enrol my employees for the online ACA course to get them set up for success right away.”

This year, The ACA Internship has seen a 250 per cent increase in applications for the 2025 intake and is proud to be able to offer 15 internship placements for young people aged 18-25. The placements are for those who are passionate about aviation and who want to explore the wide range of career opportunities available in the air charter industry.

The ACA's internship training week will take place in August 2025 at London Biggin Hill airport and will be led by The ACA's CEO, Glenn Hogben and The ACA's training manager Julie Ellis. Following completion of this training course The ACA's interns will have the opportunity to undergo practical work experience at one of the association's 440 member companies. The ACA has now expanded its membership to 60 countries and as such is uniquely placed to offer opportunities to aspiring air charter professionals around the world.

The ACA has recently appointed new events and training executive, Malin Junkers, to support the continued growth of these outstanding programmes and The ACA's wider calendar of member events.
