NHV Group has promoted Jamie John to the role of chief commercial officer, effective from the beginning of May. John joined NHV in 2012 after a period at Dancopter and has since worked in a number of operational and leadership roles across its bases in Norwich, Den Helder and Aberdeen.

He played a key part in establishing the Aberdeen base and most recently served as vice president for oil and gas before becoming commercial director for North Sea Energy in 2023.

“Since joining NHV in 2012, I have had the privilege of contributing to a company that is deeply committed to safety, service quality and operational excellence. I am honoured to step into the role of chief commercial officer and to continue serving an organisation I hold in such high regard,” says John.

NHV describes his promotion as a reflection of his dedication and ambition, and says his commercial vision makes him well suited to the next phase of growth.

“In this new role, my focus will be on driving sustainable commercial growth, strengthening our customer relationships and ensuring we continue to deliver the high-quality and safe services that NHV is known for.
