Epic names Victory Lane as first Gold Star centre
Victory Lane Aviation in North Carolina becomes the first Epic-authorised Gold Star service centre, providing advanced maintenance and support for E1000 models.

Epic Aircraft has named Victory Lane Aviation, a Part 145 repair station based at Concord-Padgett Regional airport in North Carolina, as its first Gold Star authorised service centre. The milestone recognises the facility’s commitment to operational excellence, expert aircraft maintenance standards and exceptional customer service.

“This prestigious designation marks a significant step in our strategic collaboration with Victory Lane Aviation,” says Doug King, CEO of Epic Aircraft, LLC. “Victory Lane joined Epic’s authorised service centre network in 2022. Our relationship has steadily grown year after year through our shared dedication to the highest levels of safety, quality and customer service.”

Victory Lane CEO Ryan Shepherd adds: “We’re honoured and proud to be designated as the first Gold Star authorised service centre within the Epic Aircraft network. Doug and his team make safety and customer satisfaction top priorities. This partnership aligns with those priorities and is the reason we’ve invested in increased capabilities, including AOG support. We look forward to providing top-tier service on the East Coast for E1000 models, including the new AX.”

Key Gold Star attributes include a full range of services for Epic E1000 aircraft, including both routine and progressive inspection plan maintenance, complex repairs including Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67A engine work, and avionics support, paint repair and specialised services. Technicians are experienced and factory-trained, and the service centres adhere to strict safety regulations and are recognised by the FAA as Part 145 repair stations.

Epic’s Gold Star service centres offer regional remote AOG support and RVSM inspection capability, and provide an Epic factory-trained instructor (EFTI) pilot for maintenance check flights and aircraft repositioning as necessary. They demonstrate a long-term commitment to Epic Aircraft owners and maintain best practices for parts inventory, helping to ensure quick turnaround times for aircraft maintenance and repairs.

“Our mission is to deliver world-class customer service, adaptive and innovative solutions and premier support while ensuring every Epic turboprop sets the standard for reliability and safety in the skies,” says Epic Aircraft’s customer support manager Justin Croteau. “Victory Lane Aviation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to our mission and adherance to its core values of quality and dedicated maintenance care as well as exceptional customer service.”

Epic Aircraft currently has a network of 16 FAA-approved service centres across the United States, serving operators in every US time zone.
