Gama Aviation has added Airbus H145 maintenance approval at its Gloucestershire Airport facility in the UK, marking a major step in the Group’s investment in rotary support services and strengthening its ability to serve VIP, utility and air ambulance operators across the UK.
Following the acquisition of the former Specialist Aviation Services site just over a year ago, Gama Aviation has developed Gloucestershire into a full rotary maintenance hub. The site now supports a range of platforms including the Leonardo AW169 and AW139.
The Gloucestershire Airport facility offers services including Part 21 J and G design and production, Part 145 maintenance, a component paint shop with an expanded facility planned for Q4 2025, and support from Gama Aviation’s nationwide mobile service team (MST).
These capabilities allow operators to consolidate maintenance requirements, from inspections and reconfigurations to installing mission-specific equipment, at a single site.
The Airbus H145 is widely used by air ambulance, police, utility and VIP operators. With H145 maintenance approval now secured, Gama Aviation can offer better accessibility and reduced downtime for fleets across the UK.
Managing director MRO Paul Kinch says: “The addition of Airbus H145 approval at Staverton is a major step in expanding our rotary capability. It enables us to provide tailored, efficient support for our clients while reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in critical mission support. Our team is committed to delivering service excellence across the full lifecycle of each aircraft we maintain.”
Gama Aviation’s rotary growth plan also targets the addition of Airbus EC/H135 maintenance approvals by Q1 2026.
