Lider Aviacao, the largest executive aviation company in Latin America, has been approved for the maintenance of Leonardo Helicopters, and has now also been appointed a recognised service centre by the manufacturer. The contract was signed during LAAD Defense & Security 2025.
This new certification, which covers the company's maintenance centres at Brasilia International airport and Jacarepaguá airport in Rio de Janeiro, represents a significant advance in the offering of specialised services for the Italian brand's helicopter line.
Certification as a Leonardo recognised service centre allows Lider Aviacao to continue offering a full range of maintenance services for all aircraft of the brand, including routine inspections, repairs, component upgrades and advanced technical support, adding credibility and visibility to its operations. With this new status, Líder strengthens its commitment to providing services that meet the most rigorous quality and safety standards established by Leonardo. This recognition attests to the company's high qualification, ensuring more agile processes, in addition to even more personalised service and an improved experience for customers.
“We are excited about this new stage, which not only highlights our technical capabilities, but also demonstrates our commitment to offering excellent services for the maintenance of Leonardo aircraft,” says Junia Hermont, CEO of Lider Aviacao. “This recognition also boosts our market strategy, consolidating Líder as a reference in the segment.”
Lider Aviacao was already approved for maintenance on Leonardo Helicopter models, and the certification as a recognised service centre further consolidates this partnership. Its service centres in Brasília and Rio de Janeiro have cutting-edge technology and a highly qualified team, ensuring quality standards that meet the requirements of the Italian manufacturer.
In addition, Líder operates its own fleet of AW139 helicopters.
