Sky Valet Connect has added Paris-Le Bourget-based FBO Advanced Air Support to its franchise. The move gives the network a base at Europe’s busiest business aviation airport.
Sky Valet Connect, the franchise arm of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, already operates at around 40 airports. The Paris expansion follows recent additions in Châteaudun and Quimper Pluguffan.
Advanced Air Support helps handle about 15% of Le Bourget’s private aviation traffic. Its services include a VIP lounge, crew areas, aircraft maintenance and freight management.
Jean-François Guitard of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur says: “Advanced Air Support has a unique feature that is highly relevant to our business model: it mainly assists private aircraft and manages a large fleet of equipment. Its location at Paris-Le Bourget is a major asset for our network, whose franchisees have been asking for a base at Europe’s leading business aviation airport. Now, we are offering them new development opportunities.”
Louis Malidor, head of FBO at Advanced Air Support, adds: “This new partnership with the Sky Valet Connect network is designed to increase Advanced Air Support’s synergies and opportunities for collaboration with major, well-known European airports. Everyone benefits, including passenger customers, crews, airline operators, FBOs and airport managers.”
Sky Valet Connect has now reached 43 destinations across France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus and Greece.
